Cuttack

Brahmapur

Brahmapur is 4th most important city of Odisha. This city is on bank of Rushikulya river. It is just 25 km away from Rushikulya river and its basin. This city is very near to Odisha-Andhra border. Due to this Brahmapur is now a major financial hub in southern Odisha.

Sambalpur

Sambalpur is 5th largest city of Odisha. It is located on the banks of Mahandi river. Sambalpuri Saree of this city is famous in India. Nickname of this city is “Handloom City”. The Hirakud Dam is in Sambalpur and it is one of the longest dams in the world and measures 26 km in length. Samaleswari Temple is here which is dedicated to goddess Samaleswari. Sambalpur derives its name from Samaleswari.
